As an Erev Pesach treat, BYQ’s students experienced a Science Circus, presented by the Liberty Science Center. The students were 100 per cent involved with the interactive exploration in the states of matter, positives and negatives of static electricity, subzero temperatures of liquid nitrogen, and the immense pressure of air. The girls were astounded by demonstrations involving charge interactions, a Van de Graaff generator, and the most breathtaking part, liquid nitrogen. There were more than a dozen thrilling experiments with lots of student volunteers. What a great way to showcase the concepts of energy, Hashem’s creations, and the girls!
