NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens To Host Epilepsy Awareness Day

NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens will host a free event for members of the community to learn about the latest information in the field of epilepsy. This will take place on Friday, November 17, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at NewYork-Presbyterian/Queens, Lang Auditorium, 56-45 Main Street, Flushing. Lunch will be provided.

Dr. Hind Kettani (Neurology Attending and director of Epilepsy) will present on the topics of empowerment and resources, Dr. Sabiha Merchant (Pediatric Neurology Attending) will present on epilepsy in the pediatric population, and Dr. Anthony L. Ritaccio (director of Epilepsy and Human Brain Mapping Program at Albany Medical Center) will present on seizures and driving.
