Central (Yeshiva University High School for Girls) welcomed its incoming class of 2022 this Sunday for a Freshman Fair! After a warm welcome from their future Big Sisters and members of the Central faculty, the eighth grade students were treated to a taste of Central classes, including coding, Spanish, and art, in order to more effectively select which elective they will take next year.
The students then had a chance to get to know one another through a few rounds of “speed dating,” and ended the day at a Freshman Fair, spending some quality time with their future Big Sisters and classmates. Maayan Berman ’19, a Big Sister, said, “It was an amazing day! We were able to meet our little sisters and help them acclimate to Central!” Estee Ackerman ’19, another Big Sister, echoed the sentiment: “It was truly extraordinary to see so many girls from so many different middle schools excited to meet their new classmates for the next four years!” If the smiling faces and enthusiasm at the fair are any indication, the Central Class of 2022 has an incredible four years ahead!
