The Young Israel of Queens Valley is pleased to announce its very own Youth Minyan, scheduled to begin on December 28 at 9:15 a.m. According to its constitution, the minyan strives to “foster a program of spiritual and communal activity towards the advancement and perpetuation of Orthodox Judaism.” It also aims to “instill into its constituents an understanding and appreciation of Judaism.”

The minyan, located in the shul’s Beis Midrash, is the perfect place for boys ten or older to daven on Shabbos day. It provides Nusach Training under the auspices of Mr. Ronnie Eisenberg for any children who wish to lead the services. Dr. Judah Gomberg will teach an advanced curriculum for graduates of Mr. Eisenberg’s program. In addition, numerous leining opportunities are available for budding baalei k’riah. “This is an incredible opportunity for our youth to learn how to daven and lein. It is exciting for me to see our younger members stepping up to the plate this way,” says YIQV President Dr. Martin Braun.

The Young Israel of Queens Valley Youth Minyan will inaugurate on December 28, Shabbos Parshas MiKeitz. Seize this valuable opportunity to educate your sons, grandsons, and great-grandsons by encouraging them to join us at the new Youth Minyan!
