“The fact that frontline workers like those serving food to needy New Yorkers at food pantries have risked their lives for months and are now being told that they aren’t eligible for a vaccine is a disgrace. Meanwhile, if you work for a multi-billion-dollar corporation like Walmart, you’re eligible.
“These pantry workers are people who interact with hundreds of people every day at their own risk and literally hand the food to the neediest New Yorkers. They deserve to be given immediate access to the vaccine. These frontline workers deserve better.”
