In a year where nothing seems to be normal, Bnos Malka Academy’s annual dinner will be an extraordinary event. A typical dinner focuses on a couple of well-deserving honorees who have demonstrated their devotion to the school. During the pandemic and the remote learning of a year ago, the partnership between teachers and parents was strengthened.
It took an enormous amount of energy and attention to detail to ensure that the technology was in place and functioning reliably. Teachers had to learn a whole new way to engage with each student so the academic levels were maintained and this special partnership needed to be keenly aware of any emotional changes due to the pandemic. Bnos Malka’s annual dinner on June 20 will take the opportunity to celebrate the special partnership between teachers and parents that, in truth, has always been a hallmark of the school.
