Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe is excited to welcome their new Menahel, Rabbi Don Pacht, back to Queens! While Rabbi Pacht grew up in Kew Gardens Hills, he has spent the last 17 years in Vancouver, Canada, where he was Head of School of the Vancouver Hebrew Academy. During his tenure there, he built VHA into a top-ranked school with an international reputation for quality instruction, with a strong focus on midos tovos and social/emotional growth.

It is particularly special to have Rabbi Pacht as the new Menahel, as he is himself a graduate of Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe. Rabbi Pacht is a talmid of Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim here in Queens, as well as of the Yeshiva’s affiliate in Rochester. Rabbi Pacht has commented that, although much has changed since he graduated YTM, the hallmark character of the school remains evident, and he is excited to be returning in his new role.

Rabbi Pacht has expressed his appreciation to all of the administrators, rebbeim, teachers, and staff who have welcomed him so warmly. He noted the exceptional knowledge and qualities of the educational leadership team at YTM, and he looks forward to working together on behalf of each and every talmid in the school.
