Many young men return from Eretz Yisrael, having grown leaps and bounds, and are now looking to keep the momentum going. The big question that they ask themselves is whether they should focus on continued growth in Torah learning or follow the pursuit of earning? At our yeshivah, we ask the question: Why not have both?
Yeshiva Toras Halacha is a haven for even-minded Torah-driven professionals. Morning seder is from 9:30 a.m. to 12 noon, Monday through Thursday, at which point the talmidim then go to college, work, or an internship. Besides an array of halachah, Gemara, and dating vaadim, the yeshivah’s main morning seder involves the learning of sugyos to their halachic endpoint. The yeshivah is currently learning the sugya of T’vilas Keilim, a must-know for all who are getting married in the next few years.
Just as important as the limud is, so is the solid connection that is formed between the talmidim and their rebbeim and peers. The very warm and Torahdik environment in the KGH building of Od Yosef Chai only helps foster continued growth in both ruchniyus and gashmiyus endeavors for a prosperous and healthy future. The accompanying pictures highlight a few special features of the last month, including a father-son Thanksgiving event, an in-Shabbos, and a Chanukah mesibah for talmidim and alumni.
