An overflow crowd of parents of Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe talmidim joined for a gala Melava Malka on Motza'ei Shabbos, November 12, that featured a lavish dairy buffet by Simchas Gourmet and a sushi bar by Eden Wok of Westchester.
Rabbi Don Pacht, menahel, welcomed the parent body and shared a d'var Torah that underscored the importance of a holistic approach to reaching and teaching children in both academics and in social-emotional growth. Rabbi Pacht shared some of the ways that YTM's program reaches this lofty goal.
Rabbi Pacht then introduced the evening’s guest speaker, Rabbi Y.Y. Rubinstein. The packed crowd was inspired by Rabbi Rubinstein’s message of partnership between Hashem, parents, and mechanchim, who all work to build the next generation of klal Yisrael. Rabbi Rubinstein concluded by wishing us all much-continued hatzlachah in this most-important endeavor.
