Dear Editor:

I loved Rabbi Schonfeld’s article on vaccinations, but I think he left out the most important question for non-vaxxers: What are your questions and concerns about vaccines and how can we address them?

While anti-vaxxers may not want to hear the real facts, most non-vaxxers are just scared (no thanks to the misinformation they got from anti-vaxxers and others). There are medical professionals who are trying to educate about vaccines and encourage people to get them, and I think such education and encouragement is badly needed.

Sincerely,

Meira E. Schneider-Atik

Dear Editor:

You can judge a person’s character by the legislation they support. The following Democratic Party 2020 presidential primary candidates attended or spoke at the Reverend Al Sharpton’s Annual National Action Network Conference. Each was asked by Sharpton if they supported legislation introduced by Texas Congress member Sheila Jackson Lee to have the federal government spend hard-earned tax dollars to study if Washington should pay reparations to decedents of enslaved peoples. The following “politically correct” liberal presidential wannabes looking for Sharpton’s blessing said they would support this proposal include Senators Cory Booker (New Jersey), Bernie Sanders (Vermont), Kamala Harris (California), Kirsten Gillibrand (New York), Amy Klobuchar (Minnesota), Congressmember Tulsi Gabbard (Hawaii), and Tim Ryan (Ohio), former Congressmember Beto O’Rourke (Texas), John Delaney (Maryland), Governor Jay Insle (Washington), former Governor John Hickenloop (Colorado), Mayor Pete Buttigieg (South Bend, Indiana), former San Antonio Mayor/Secretary of Housing and Urban Affairs Julian Castro, and businessperson Andrew Yang.

Since passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, the private sector along with city, state, and federal government at all levels have spent trillions under various programs that benefited African American citizens. This included minority quotas for both employment hiring and admission to college, awarding of contracts to disadvantaged business enterprises, minority business mentoring programs, work place mentoring programs for promotion to higher positions, and others. Every glass ceiling in both the workplace and government was broken years ago. The election of President Barack Obama in 2008 was the last barrier to be broken. It has been common for decades to find African American citizens holding senior management positions in government and business. There is now a large and growing African American middle class.

My Jewish ancestors did not own any plantations and did not poison any slaves on Hebrew National Salami. They were too busy running away from the Cossacks and the pogroms.

Several African American generations have benefited and grown over the past 45 years since passage of the 1964 Civil Rights Act. It is time to move on rather than go back over 154 years to re-litigate the 1861-1865 Civil War. We have all grown to look beyond the color of a person’s skin, ethnic origin, religious beliefs, orientation, or age and accept each person for who they are today.

These potential presidential Democratic Party nominees who continue pandering do not deserve either your vote or campaign contribution.

Sincerely,

Larry Penner

Dear Editor:

After more than two years of the investigators investigating the investigators who were investigating themselves for evidence of Russian collusion in the 2016 presidential election – something that only happened in the minds of delusional Democrats, but I repeat myself – reports are coming out that the investigators investigating the investigators who were investigating themselves finally concluded their very much drawn-out and waste of taxpayer money investigation.

The New York Times – a former newspaper – was the first to release the contents of Robert Mueller’s report, which was so shocking that it made “journalists” at the Times sick to their stomachs, after which they blamed the Russians for trying to get them sick. Anyway, according to Mueller’s report, millions of Americans colluded to elect Donald Trump President of the United States, and the only things that Trump ever colluded with personally, according to his report, were the Constitution and the Electoral College.

Mueller’s report, predictably, sent leftist heads crashing everywhere. Adam Schifless was on Meet the Depressed with Chuck Todd, where he yelled like a progressive maniac, “Now that Mueller came to the conclusion of his investigation that I dislike, it’s obvious that he was paid off by the Russians. We need a special counsel to investigate the special counsel to figure out why the first special counsel didn’t do what I would like the second special counsel to do. Also, we’ll need an investigation into this thing that I’ve never heard of called the Electoral College, to make sure it isn’t ripping off its students like Trump University did.”

Alexandria Trotsky-Cortex, whose IQ results recently came back negative, and who recently proposed a bill to set the clock six years ahead so Trump would no longer be president, said in a statement that she isn’t satisfied with the report and suggested appointing Maxine Waters as the new special counsel.

President Trump was extremely excited by Mueller’s report. He tweeted in response, “I WAS INNOCENT ALL ALONG! This was a witch hunt from day one, and everyone knew it! Hillary Clinton – the ugliest politician ever! – is a crooked and slimy politician who only cares about power and money! The only thing that would make me happier than Mueller’s report would be to see her in a BEAUTIFUL ORANGE JUMP SUIT BEHIND METAL BARS! #MAGA.”
