I would like to thank the kind stranger on 70th Road who helped me shovel out my car that was completely plowed in and snowed in. Most people just looked and drove by. You took the time to come back and help my young son and me shovel out the car.
Thank you so much! You have no idea how much I appreciated it. There really are kind people in this world. Thank you again!

I would like to address a letter from Mr. Solomon Goldfinger, printed in last week’s Queens Jewish Link, in which he admonishes me quoting a curse, in the words of our holy Tanach.
To everything, there is a season, A time to be silent, and a time to speak, A time for love, a time for hate.
King David, in Psalms 119:21, declares: “You shall rebuke cursed willful sinners, who stray from Your commandments.” He exalts Hashem, for (119:119) “As dross, You cut off all the wicked of the earth.”
In Psalm 139:19, David adjures Hashem: “If only You would slay the wicked, O G-d, and men of blood...139:21: “Did I not hate your enemies, O L-rd? With those who rise up against You, I quarrel. 139:22: I hate them with utmost hatred: they have become my enemies.”
The Psalms have many more such references to hatred and cursing the evil, who bring destruction to the world.
Perhaps Mr. Goldfinger would eliminate the 15th prayer of Sh’moneh Esrei, which states: “And for the slanderers let there be no hope, and may all evil be instantly destroyed. And all of Your enemies should be quickly cut off, and the rebellious sinners You should quickly uproot, and smash, and break, and humble quickly in our day...”
Who qualifies for such hatred? Any enemies of Israel, be they Jewish traitors, or non-Jews.
Joe Biden, as Vice President under Barack Obama, pushed a “peace accord,” which G-d forbid, would leave Israel six miles wide: a suicide accord. Just for a promise of peace. Re-initiating the Iran Deal is a direct threat to Israel. His harsh stance toward Israel has a long history.
Mr. Goldfinger, do you really want to stand behind that?
I pray that the future proves me wrong, but until then, no apologies.

I would like to respond to the Letter to the Editor by Sam Goldfinger dated January 28. He takes Sharon Marcus to task for a poem that is highly critical of Biden. It appears that Sam is upset that Biden is called a rasha.
I would like to point out that Warren Hecht has compared Trump to Haman and Hitler. Sam does not seem to have a problem with that. This selective outrage severely damages his credibility. Sharon Marcus writes wonderful poems that come from the heart. I owe her a great debt of gratitude for the spiritual inspiration that she gives me. She did not curse Biden. He cursed himself.
Biden said, “Pollard will be released from jail over my dead body.” Only a rasha would utter such an inflammatory statement.
Biden signed an executive order to cut out the Keystone Pipeline. This will cost thousands of jobs and harm this country. He doesn’t care.
Biden ordered an end to border enforcement. This will bring in millions of illegal aliens. This will harm our struggling economy and pose a national health risk. Biden doesn’t care.
Biden signed an executive order to allow transgender soldiers into the military. This will cause major problems. Biden doesn’t care.
Biden brought us back into the Paris climate agreement. This will cost the US trillions and cost many jobs. However, it puts no restrictions on China. Biden doesn’t care.
Biden will fund terrorists to murder Jews in Israel. Biden doesn’t care.
I cannot understand how any rational person would choose Biden over Trump. I apologize to Sharon Marcus for the statements of Sam Goldfinger. He is a minority among the frum community and hopefully he will come around and realize that the Democratic Party has been taken over by radical liberals. It is time for all Jews to abandon the Democratic Party once and for all.

President Joe Biden promised he would unite America again and appoint the most diverse cabinet and administration in history, representing the gorgeous American mosaic. Republicans continue to represent a significant portion of America. Why has he failed to appoint any to serve in his Cabinet and administration? Mr. Biden has failed in following up on this public commitment on this issue. Actions speak louder than words. His call for bringing America together appears to just be campaign rhetoric. Biden practices “To the victor belongs the spoils.” Quid pro quo is alive and well in the White House under his watch. It is business as usual at the expense of taxpayers.
Even former Democratic President Barack Obama appointed Ray LaHood – Republican Congressmember from Illinois as his Secretary of Transportation.
