Although the weather is still warm, fall is in full swing and it’s time to explore some of the latest trends - think smoky eyes and warm-toned blushes or bold lips and soft eyes. Although trends come and go, it’s always fun to incorporate some new looks and tailor them to your personal style.

Vibrant eyeliner, bright, bold shadow, and luscious lashes are what you can expect to see this season. Since it looks like masks are still around for fall, playing up your eyes will be a great way to showcase your makeup.

Graphic Eyeliner - Now is the time to take your eyeliner skills to the next level. You can choose a bright color and opt for a bold line, reminiscent of the ‘80s.  The full cat eye is always a classic, but the smaller flick, aka the “kitten eye,” is the latest. This look can be achieved with a flick of a short and thin eyeliner wing at the outer corner of the eyes. Intense black eyeliner is still popular as well, if that’s what you love.  To intensify the look and add some drama, you can even add some liner inside the bottom waterline.

Smoky Eyes - This fall showcases the softer side of the smoky eye. The look can be achieved by using shadow shades of taupes, browns, greys, blues, greens, and purples, instead of the typical black or charcoal. Then add a black winged liner to complete the look.

Colorful Lids - It’s not about rainbow-colored eyes this season. This trend incorporates one vibrant color all over the lids, allowing that to be the focal point of your makeup look. Try orange, indigo or purple shadow to adorn your lids.

Luscious Lashes - Apply a few coats of mascara and some additional lashes to really make your eyes pop. Adding a half-lash to the outer corner of the eyes can really open them up.

Bold Lips - If you love vibrant lips and can’t be bothered with playing up your eyes, red lips are once again a fall statement color. Be sure to leave the eyes soft, yet paired with some black liner and warm toned blush.

Dewey Skin - Once again, the glow from within look is back on trend. This can easily be achieved with the help of a good moisturizer and primer, applied beneath your foundation.

Remember that makeup is an art and not bound by rules. So regardless of what trend you choose, have fun and experiment with different colors and textures for fall to create your own signature look.
