Moving on to high school from the early developmental years of elementary school is a much-celebrated milestone of growth in every child’s life. However, leaving elementary school results in parting ways and losing touch with teachers and classmates that they have shared a lifetime with.
On Motza’ei Shabbos, March 2, alumni of Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe joined together for a reunion. Over 120 recent graduates came back to the Yeshiva to catch up with their former classmates and rebbeim. The boys enjoyed finding themselves back at YTM and were amazed at the continued changes around the building. The boys all went up to see the rooftop playground, which is under construction, and could not believe that it is so close to being a reality. The joy that was shared amongst friends coming from many different high schools and beyond was palpable.
Many of the rebbeim spent time catching up with their former students and were happy to celebrate their successes with them. Everyone enjoyed an all-you-can-eat buffet, catered by Carlos and Gabby’s. The alumni and rebbeim were entertained by an amazing show by mentalist David Blatt. The night ended with many goodbyes and everyone looking forward to next year’s reunion.
