Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe Celebrates 61st Annual Dinner

Last week, over 500 friends, supporters, and parents joined together to celebrate Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe’s 61st Annual Dinner with a memorable evening at the Great Neck Synagogue. The Yeshiva honored Rabbi Chaim Schauder as Machzik Chesed Awardee, Rabbi & Mrs. Mordechai Heller as Parents of the Year, and Dr. & Mrs. Avraham Perkal & Family as Ahavas Chesed Awardees.

The dinner was graced with the presence of Rav Akiva Grunblatt, who expressed the need for hakaras ha’tov for the Yeshiva’s tremendous efforts in educating today’s child. The exciting and inspirational program included tributes to and speeches by the honorees, and the always anticipated annual video.

The crowd was awed by sixth grade YTM student Shaul Heller’s introduction to his parents’ award. Dr. Perkal discussed the need for mindfulness and applying it to our children’s yeshivos. The evening was capped by Jeff Leb’s introduction of his uncle Rabbi Chaim Schauder. Jeff described the chesed his uncle did for him during his childhood and until today, and said that we can all testify that his experience is one shared by family, friends, and YTM talmidim.

The evening concluded with a video tribute to Rabbi Schauder and the dedication of the renovated N’tilas Yadayim washroom to Rabbi & Mrs. Schauder’s departed parents. The Yeshiva thanks the dinner chairmen, Mr. Aaron Laub, Mr. Mordchai Krausz, and Mr. Ari Weiss, the honorees and their friends for helping make this dinner so successful.
