This past weekend, Ezra Academy students traveled to Camp Moshava for an unforgettable retreat filled with tremendous ruach, achdus, and meaningful experiences that strengthened friendships, school spirit, and community connections.
Excitement began the moment students boarded the buses, where each participant was welcomed with a special retreat “comfy” featuring the exclusive Ezra Academy Retreat logo. The thoughtful touch immediately set the tone for a warm and uplifting Shabbaton that brought students and faculty together in a truly unique way.
Throughout the weekend, the atmosphere was filled with energy, enthusiasm, and connection. Shabbos davening and meals were elevated by the presence of the “Traveling Chasidim,” whose singing, warmth, and spirit added a powerful dimension to the experience. From spirited z’miros to inspiring divrei Torah, a strong sense of unity and school pride could be felt throughout the campus.

One of the most memorable moments of the retreat was a moving musical Havdalah followed by spirited dancing that carried the inspiration of Shabbos late into the evening and created lasting memories for students and faculty alike.
Students also enjoyed an action-packed lineup of activities, including an exciting scavenger hunt and a competitive 3-on-3 basketball tournament that highlighted teamwork, camaraderie, and healthy competition. Whether participating in programming, spending time with friends, or building relationships with faculty outside the classroom, students experienced a weekend designed to strengthen both community and connection.
By the end of the retreat, students returned home tired, inspired, and energized by an experience that reflected the warmth, spirit, and values of Ezra Academy – already looking forward to next year’s retreat.
