A New Year of Thursday Night Torah Learning Begins in Kew Gardens Hills

The new year of mishmar learning got off to an enthusiastic start Thursday evening, October 22, as more than 80 Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe (YTM) talmidim and their older chavrusos gathered at the Yeshiva Chofetz Chaim beis midrash of the Rabbinical Seminary of America (RSA) in Kew Gardens Hills.

The evening brought together younger students and their older learning partners for a meaningful seder, filling the beis midrash with the energy of Torah learning and the excitement of a new year. Following the learning session, participants headed downstairs for Maariv, hot cholent, basketball, and a raffle, adding an enjoyable social element to the evening.

The festivities concluded with congratulations to Chaim Heller, who was selected as the first mishmar raffle winner of the year. The successful opening night set an encouraging tone for the program, strengthening the connection between YTM talmidim and their older chavrusos through shared learning and camaraderie.
