Kollel Moshe Nechemia, established by R’ Aaron Lehrfied, al sheim Moshe Nechemia Sukenik z”l, launched the winter z’man of its acclaimed Motza’ei Shabbos Gemara Chaburah learning program. There is an important characteristic in Judaism called hakaras ha’tov, being grateful. Every Yid must develop an awareness and a mindset that recognizes all the good that one receives and appropriately thank the Giver/giver. This past Monday, volunteers of Boots for Israel set out to JFK Airport with 25 duffels, intent on getting them on a flight. Unfortunately, the bags did not make it out of the US. Instead, EL AL arranged for the same bags to stay with a group of over 175 family members of hostages, representing over 50 families, who came to New York on a special 24-hour mission of Chabad Israel to bring urgent attention to the 240-plus kidnapped by Hamas. The group visited the Lubavitcher Rebbe’s Ohel, a short distance from Holliswood, where they were met by 500 supporters who came especially to show support. The group met with elected officials Tuesday ahead of their attendance at the D.C. March for Israel rally before returning to Israel. EL AL conducted their first-ever domestic flight bringing the group from New York to Washington D.C.
