Much is discussed and written about leadership. Historically, the Jewish people crave effective, responsible, and dignified leaders. This has been especially evident, again, during the current pandemic, when we hold our breath hoping that a reasonable and proper voice will emerge every time someone speaks on our behalf.
At the young age of 16, Efrat Haimoff z”l was diagnosed with Acute Myeloid Leukemia. With steadfast emunah, she remained positive and strong. Throughout Efrat’s treatments, she chose to focus on the good in her life.
Rabbi Dov Keilson, well-known speaker, shared an inspiring shiur virtually on behalf of Chazaq, Asher to The Yatzar, and 5 Towns Central on the theme of appreciating our bodies. This shiur was part five of a series and was dedicated in memory of Dr. Nachman Schorr z”l, Mrs. Dvora Leah Hecht a”h, and Mrs. Shoshana Strickman a”h.

On Saturday, November 14, tens of thousands of pro-Trump demonstrators as far as the eye could see rallied just east of the White House in Freedom Plaza, Washington D.C., standing in allegiance with President Donald Trump as they marched towards the Supreme Court. During the largely peaceful march, most carried Trump campaign flags or signage calling for a fair election count. The President, who has yet to formally concede, joined the procession with a wide smile and his signature thumbs up as his motorcade passed through.
Every day I am profoundly grateful for the interconnectedness of my personal and professional lives.
