This past week, Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe celebrated the conclusion of the wonderful V’Taher Libeinu T’filah Program geared toward the sixth through eighth grades. The program aims to enhance the t’filos of the talmidim by having them refrain from any talking during Shacharis, Minchah, and Maariv for a full month. (Sixth graders are only required to complete the Shacharis requirement.)

Yeshiva Ketana Zichron Chaim U’Bina of Queens recently held a Zeide-Father-Son melaveh malkah for first through fifth graders in the ballroom of Ner Mordechai in Kew Gardens, with over 550 talmidim, fathers, and grandfathers in attendance.

North Shore Hebrew Academy 12th Graders Learn About History And Themselves Across Germany, Poland, And Israel

The passports belonging to North Shore Hebrew Academy High School’s 12th graders show the physical journey that the students recently undertook, with stamps from Germany to Poland to Israel. But the really important journey doesn’t have stamps to mark the destinations, or entry-and-exit dates. The real journey happened internally, inside each of the 42 participants, who stood witness to the darkest chapters of human history and found hope for the future.

The Yeshiva of Central Queens community is eagerly anticipating YCQ’s 82^nd Anniversary Dinner, which will, im yirtzeh Hashem, take place on Motza’ei Shabbos, February 25, at Old Westbury. The theme of the dinner will be “Remembering Our Past, Celebrating Our Present, and Building Our Future.”

In conjunction with the worldwide completion of Sefer B’reishis, the boys of Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe’s Early Childhood program participated in an energizing siyum gathering this past Friday. The burgeoning bachurim arrived at Yeshiva clad in their majestic Shabbos clothes and proudly wore a distinctive crown that they designed in honor of the festivity.

On Asarah B’Teves, Tuesday, January 3, Yeshiva Shaarei Zion held a meaningful Yom Iyun with the third through eighth grades, where the girls were paired up as big sister-little sister. Delving into the different fast days throughout the year, the girls worked together to unravel the meaning behind each fast. The girls learned the difference between the two types of g’ulah we seek, recognizing that Hashem is in every aspect of our lives.
