While some Reform and progressive groups raised objections to Ambassador Huckabee’s nomination, Orthodox leaders quickly mobilized in support.
The Rabbinical Alliance of America (RAA), which represents over 950 Orthodox rabbis, released a strong public endorsement. Executive Vice President Rabbi Mendy Mirocznik stated, “Governor Huckabee has consistently demonstrated his loyalty to Israel and to the safety and dignity of the Jewish people. His values, words, and actions are in harmony with the Torah ideals of justice and emes.”
The statement was personally acknowledged by U.S. President Donald J. Trump, who called Rabbi Mirocznik to express his appreciation for the Orthodox community’s support.
The Orthodox Union’s Advocacy Center also advocated for Huckabee’s swift confirmation, pointing to his unwavering stance on Israel’s security and Jewish continuity.
At a time when public figures often divide, Huckabee remains a unifying presence for those who see Israel not just as an ally—but as a sacred partner in a shared destiny.
