There was a palpable sense of achdus, hakaras ha’tov, and heartfelt camaraderie at the 29th Annual Dinner of the Bnos Malka Academy. Held on Monday, March 3, at Da Mikelle Palazzo, the evening brought together parents, faculty, and supporters to celebrate the remarkable impact of the school and to honor outstanding individuals whose dedication continues to shape both the Bnos Malka family and the wider community.

The Torah and Tanach came to life for these SINAI at YCQ junior high school students, who recently visited the Living Torah Museum in Brooklyn’s Boro Park neighborhood. There, they saw Jewish artifacts geared toward the story of Purim and learned about the garb of the Kohen Gadol with museum tour guide Rabbi Shaul Shimon Deutsch.

This past Motza’ei Shabbos, Rambam Mesivta celebrated its 33rd Annual Scholarship Dinner. The event honored several distinguished individuals, including Ariel (Class of ’98) and Julie Holzer as Guests of Honor, Yehuda and Shira Kessock as Parents of the Year, and Rabbi Avi and Dr. Mindy Haar with the Pillars of Rambam Award. Additionally, Dr. Yehuda Herschman (Class of 2005) was recognized as Alumnus of the Year, alongside Chezky “Jonathan” Frieden (Class of 2015), who was also named Alumnus of the Year.

On Motza’ei Shabbos, March 1, HALB celebrated its legacy of educating children for 70 years! The evening paid tribute to Paul Peyser a”h, one of HALB’s founding members, and the entire Peyser family, who very generously dedicated the Paul Peyser Auditorium in his memory.
