For over a decade, Esther Subin and Marina Aminov worked side by side in a spa, sharing not just a love for wellness, but a dream to create a space of their own. This past January, that dream came to life with the opening of Emunah Day Spa, in the heart of Bayside on Bell Boulevard.

Rooted in their shared love for spa culture and deep Jewish values, Emunah Day Spa is a place where women can truly feel at home, comfortable, cared for, and celebrated. “Most spas stay open on Saturdays, which are usually the busiest,” Esther explains. “But for us, Shabbos and Yom Tov are sacred.” Their doors may be closed for those days, but their hearts remain wide open, trusting that Hashem will provide, a belief that lives in the very name of their spa.

“Emunah” means faith, and it beautifully reflects how both Esther and Marina pour their souls into every treatment, every client, and every detail. “We want our clients to experience real results,” they say, “not just in how they look, but in how they feel.”

Step inside Emunah, and you’ll understand that this isn’t just a spa. It’s a sanctuary of purpose, passion, and faith.

Emunah Day Spa is proudly women-owned, and the environment reflects that intention. It’s warm, welcoming, and thoughtfully curated for women to feel at ease. All services and snacks are kosher, aligning with the founders’ values and lifestyle.

Esther Subin, one of the co-owners, gave birth to her first child just four months ago, around the same time that she and Marina opened the spa. “It’s been a season of new beginnings,” she shares with a smile. That sense of nurturing and renewal is embedded into everything they do at Emunah.

The spa offers a wide range of treatments designed to support both wellness and beauty from the inside out. From pre- and post-natal massage, post-surgery recovery, and deep tissue massage, to gentle relaxation and lymphatic drainage, every treatment is performed with care and precision. Their body treatments include luxurious exfoliating scrubs finished with a rich body butter, hydrating wraps to soothe dry skin, and detox wraps featuring infrared therapy that relieves soreness and flushes out toxins.

For those looking for a natural glow, Emunah offers spa tans using henna-based formulas that give the skin a sun-kissed look lasting one to two weeks – without any harsh chemicals. Other popular services include lash lifts, laser treatments, laser hair removal, and microinfusion therapy to refresh and rejuvenate the skin.

Their facial offerings are just as diverse, ranging from beginner facials to advanced micro-needling, collagen-boosting infusions, and their trusted Hydrafacial, which is customized for any skin type or concern.

“We’re results-driven,” Esther says. “Our goal is for every client to feel transformed – body, mind, and spirit – when they leave our spa. We’re intentional with every step we take and every product we use.”

One client summed it up perfectly: “No one has ever explained everything in such detail. It was a breath of fresh air, the space was beautiful, and the staff was amazing.”

That attention to care and clarity is exactly what Emunah Day Spa is all about. Co- owner Esther Subin explains, “We’re down-to-earth, but we deliver high-quality service and use only the best products. Every member of our team is professionally trained and an expert in her field.”

Esther also shared a personal and spiritual side to the spa’s story. Rabbi Yossi Blesofsky, the Director of Chabad of Northeast Queens, played a vital role in their journey, not only blessing the spa’s mezuzos, but guiding Esther through her conversion to Judaism. “He took me to the finish line,” she says with deep gratitude. “He and his wife Dina have been an incredible source of strength. Rabbi Blesofsky has become both our spiritual and business coach, encouraging and mentoring us as we grow.”

Right in the heart of Bayside, Emunah is truly a hidden gem. “We’re proud to be part of this vibrant community,” Esther says. “Our clientele is amazing, and our dream is to expand, offering more treatments and bringing our vision to other Jewish communities, including the Five Towns, Brooklyn, and Miami. We want to meet our clients where they are and to provide the care they need.”

Rabbi Blesofsky describes Bayside as “the best-kept secret in Queens.” A peaceful waterfront neighborhood with a mix of single-family homes, co-ops, condos, and luxury living, it’s a growing hub for Jewish life and now home to the only shomer Shabbos spa in Northeast Queens.

With faith at its core and care in every detail, Emunah Day Spa hopes to help women feel not only pampered, but uplifted.

We hope people will visit this beautiful spa, experience the warmth of our community, and be inspired to make Bayside their home,” shared Rabbi Yossi Blesofsky.

Just minutes from Main Street, Bayside offers everything a young couple or growing family could want. There’s a welcoming shul with daily minyanim, enriching classes, and lively kiddushim on Shabbos. The neighborhood is also home to a full-time Jewish day school, serving toddlers through eighth grade making it a wonderful place to raise a family in a nurturing, Torah-centered environment.

Whether you’re coming for a luxurious treatment at Emunah Day Spa or exploring the area, you’ll quickly discover that Bayside is more than just a neighborhood: It’s a community built on connection, care, and values.
