Orot, the ladies-empowered division of Ohr Natan, brought over 300 Jewish women together from all backgrounds – Ashkenazi and Sephardic, young and old – for a powerful pre-Shavuot celebration in Forest Hills on June 9.
Women flooded the stunning social hall from Brooklyn, Monsey, Passaic, and of course Queens, showing beautiful unity from across the Tri-State area. The group paid tribute to the brave IDF soldiers fighting against Hamas terrorists, fostering a spirit of hope and solidarity among the Jewish community.
Renowned speakers, including Rebbetzin Amit Yaghoubi, Rebbetzin Yaffa Jungreis, and Mrs. Jackie Bitton, captivated the audience with their insights and inspiration. The evening was further enriched by the beautiful voices of Jewish musical sensations Shaindel Antelis and Shira Maya, whose tunes resonated deeply with everyone present.
With delicious Chinese food, amazing musical entertainment, and festive dancing, this inspiring pre-Shavuot event served as a powerful reminder of the core Jewish attributes of unity and strength seen throughout the our vibrant Orthodox communities from Queens and beyond.
