Queens District Attorney Melinda Katz’s office hosted the NYPD Deputy Commissioner of Intelligence and Counterterrorism, Rebecca Weiner, as a guest speaker during their quarterly meeting of the QDA Jewish Advisory Council held on Tuesday morning, October 1, at the QDA’s Queens Boulevard offices in Kew Gardens.

The roundtable kosher breakfast underscored the Queens DA’s unwavering commitment to addressing the safety concerns felt by our communities, particularly as we commemorate the one-year anniversary of the attack on Israel by Hamas. Together, the gathering explored collaborative strategies to ensure that the Jewish community, along with all residents of Queens, feels secure and supported.
