Sukkos is a happy and exciting time for Jewish families across the globe. But what do you do with your kids for a full week without yeshivah?
Well, once again the Chazaq organization stepped up to the plate. While Chazaq’s main mission is to inspire the thousands of local public school children by providing dozens of educational programs on a monthly basis, nevertheless Chazaq has continued their exciting children’s extravaganzas for the community at large.
And boy, this year it was quite an extravaganza!
On Wednesday, October 16, and Thursday, October 17, nearly 5,000 children and their parents were treated to four Chazaq shows at the Big Apple Circus in New York City. From heart-stopping stunts to comedy juggling, and music and dancing, everyone enjoyed this memorable Chazaq circus that was professionally produced by Suki & Ding Productions.
For those who couldn’t go to Manhattan, Chazaq had a special children’s extravaganza in Queens on Friday, October 18, where scores of families were treated to an entertaining event with Cousin Nachum and the Twins from France at the Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills.
The entire Chazaq staff worked hard to assure that the Chol HaMoed events would be as professional as possible, and they truly were proud to be a vehicle in making Sukkos a true simchah to thousands of Jewish children.
