As we read Parshas Lech Lecha, we learn a powerful lesson in emunah from Avraham Avinu.

Hashem tells Avraham, “Lech lecha me’artzecha… el ha’aretz asher areka”—leave your land, your birthplace, and your father’s home, and go to the land that I will show you.

Hashem does not tell Avraham where he is going. He is asked to take a step forward without knowing exactly what lies ahead.

Rashi explains the words Lech lecha as l’hana’atcha ul’tovatcha—for your benefit and for your good.

Avraham could not see the entire picture, but Hashem could.

Sometimes, we find ourselves in situations where we do not understand why things are happening the way they are. We daven for a yeshuah, for a refuah, or for clarity, and we may not yet see the outcome we are hoping for. It is difficult not to have answers, especially when something is weighing heavily on our hearts.

Parshas Lech Lecha reminds us that not seeing the way forward does not mean that Hashem is not leading us. Avraham teaches us that emunah means continuing to trust Hashem even when we cannot yet understand His plan.

We may not know where the road will lead, but we can take the next step with tefilah, hope, and the knowledge that Hashem sees the entire journey.

May we be zocheh to strengthen our emunah, to see yeshuos and refuos for all those in need, and to experience the fulfillment of Lech lecha—discovering that Hashem has been leading us toward what is truly good for us all along.

May Hashem bless all of Klal Yisrael with refuos sheleimos, yeshuos, besoros tovos, and much brachah.
