The Eretz Chemdah program at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe is off to a wonderful start for the fifth-grade classes of Rabbi Levine and Rabbi Lisker. This innovative initiative allows the talmidim to connect with rebbeim in Eretz Yisrael via Zoom twice a month for engaging and interactive lessons. These live sessions explore themes such as k’dushas ha’aretz and mitzvos ha’teluyos ba’aretz, bringing the sanctity and unique mitzvos of the Land of Israel to life.
The program is a perfect complement to the fifth-grade curriculum, as the talmidim concurrently study Sefer Vayikra in their Chumash lessons. This integration helps deepen their understanding and appreciation of the mitzvos and the special role of Eretz Yisrael in the Torah. The boys are enthusiastic about the opportunity to learn from a rebbi thousands of miles away while participating actively from their classroom in Queens.
