Yeshiva Har Torah’s seventh and eighth graders participated in an incredible Shabbaton filled with energy, excitement, and unforgettable memories. From the moment students arrived at the David & Suri Schwartz Jewish Experience Center in Fallsburg, New York, the atmosphere was electric.

On Friday, the students enjoyed swimming and the other sports facilities. Over Shabbos, the faculty and students participated in beautiful and uplifting davening and Shabbos meals filled with singing, dancing, and divrei Torah. There were meaningful learning programs throughout Shabbos, as well as rest time, which allowed the students more opportunities to bond with their teachers and their families. Shabbos concluded with a musical Havdalah followed by dancing and a melaveh malkah.

The students expressed that this has been one of their most uplifting experiences thus far. The Shabbaton deepened friendships and the sense of community, as well as furthered the Yeshiva Har Torah values within the students.
