A group of HANC High School students decided to take advantage of their lighter afternoon schedule on Wednesday, December 25, and joined students from all over Long Island as they packed hundreds of Shabbos hospital care packages at North Shore University Hospital in Manhasset with Rabbi Hillel Fox, Director of Pastoral Services.

As their next stop, they stopped in to the third precinct to drop off doughnuts for our local Nassau County police officers, as a token of appreciation for their constant efforts and care that they demonstrate for our community.

The entire trip was student-initiated and arranged, and it was a true kiddush Hashem. Thank you to Rabbi Yakov Grun for helping to facilitate this initiative.
