An overflow crowd of parents and friends of Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe students joined together for a gala melaveh malkah on Motza’ei Shabbos, February 1. The elegant affair, which was held at the Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills, featured a lavish dairy buffet by Simchas Gourmet and a Sushi Bar by Eden Wok of Westchester.
Rabbi May welcomed the parent body and mentioned how beautiful it is when parents come together as parents, and introduced the evening’s guest speaker, Rav Moshe Tuvia Lieff. The packed crowd was then inspired by Rav Lieff’s drashah, including his personal chinuch experiences. The event concluded with a Mini-Chinese Auction and the Grand Raffle of $10,000. Mazal Tov to YTM parents Rabbi Aryeh and Miri Rabinowitz on winning this year’s raffle. Winners included YTM alumni as well as families of current students. The Yeshiva thanks everyone for participating in the Raffle Campaign and Melaveh Malkah and values and appreciates the relationship and support shown by the Yeshiva’s parent body and friends. After an enjoyable evening, the Melaveh Malkah attendees went home with inspiration and a charge to build the perfect partnership.
