On the Tuesday and Wednesday before Chanukah, the Pre-1A boys at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe eagerly awaited the arrival of their parents for a special, hands-on, Chanukah workshop! The program began with a fun game of Chanukah BINGO. Then, each boy participated in two very exciting Chanukah projects. The boys created a Chanukah caddy, which they collaged in their own unique style. They were also able to make a stuffed dreidel pillow, which they sewed on their own! Thank you to all the parents who rearranged their very busy schedules to join us. The boys and their parents really had a great time!

On Chanukah, the boys had the opportunity to do a very special mitzvah. Together with their moros, they boarded buses and went to bring Chanukah delight to the residents in the Promenade Nursing Home in Belle Harbor. The boys danced and sang Chanukah songs for the residents and brought big smiles to their faces. The boys also made beautiful Chanukah cards, which they handed out to the residents. They were really able to lighten up Chanukah for all those in the Promenade!
