At the Satmar Yeshivah Gedolah in Glendale, Chasdei Lev recently demonstrated a unique model of communal support. During this specific Queens distribution, several hundred rebbeim were provided with the resources to prepare for Yom Tov with both financial ease and personal dignity.

By coordinating directly with yeshivos, manufacturers, and distributors, Chasdei Lev allows educators to purchase essential food and household goods at a fraction of retail prices. The organization leverages bulk purchasing and direct subsidies to significantly reduce the financial burden on families while ensuring the experience remains entirely b’kavodig.

The scale of the operation is significant, with 35,000 family members supported through an entirely volunteer-run infrastructure. With zero paid staff, 100% of the effort is driven by volunteers dedicated to the cause.

More than just financial assistance, the initiative serves as a practical expression of gratitude for those who dedicate their lives to teaching the community’s children.

Organizers expressed their appreciation to Queens Shmira for maintaining public safety at the entrance throughout the distribution.
