It is again my privilege to co-host the annual Queens parlor meeting for the benefit of Yeshiva Beth Abraham, Slonim, at the home of my dear longtime chavrusah, Aaron Kopelowitz.

My family’s connection with Slonimer Chassidus and the yeshivah goes back to my father’s z”l youth, when he learned b’chavrusah with the Nesivos Shalom zt”l in Baranovitch, Poland.

Just as the greater Torah world continues its miraculous revival from the ashes of Churban Europe, so has the Slonimer Yeshiva grown and expanded as the center of a network comprised of thousands of students in its many educational divisions and branches across Eretz Yisrael.

Needless to say, klal Yisrael is now experiencing an eis tzarah of unprecedented magnitude, and every one of us is looking for ways to strengthen our spiritual and material commitments in support of the security of acheinu beis Yisrael in this time of crisis. Supporting this recognized bastion of Torah and chasidus in Eretz Yisrael is an opportunity to make a meaningful contribution in this regard. We look forward to greeting the Rosh Yeshivah, HaRav HaGaon Rav Moshe Berezovsky shlit”a, son of the Slonimer Rebbe, and grandson of the Nesivos Shalom, zt”l, who will bring words of chizuk and inspiration from Yerushalayim Ir HaKodesh.

A special video on the topic of chinuch will be presented at the parlor meeting. Additionally, a special kuntras has been compiled and will be distributed to attendees on the topics of emunah and bitachon, containing timely words of the Nesivos Shalom, zt”l from different times of war and other difficult periods of klal Yisrael in Eretz Yisrael.
