In the face of ongoing criticism for slandering Israel as a “racist” state, Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-WA) said that “most of us that get called out are women, Black, brown, immigrant. Rabbi Yoel Schonfeld, President of the Coalition for Jewish Values, made the following statement:
“It is truly shameful that Rep. Jayapal would hide behind her color or gender to shield herself from reprimand over her anti-Semitic expression. Is there anything more racist than that?
But this is not new; several of their colleagues falsely cried bigotry when Rep. Omar was finally removed from the House Foreign Affairs Committee. A better question to ask is how so many Americans came to believe it acceptable to elect open anti-Semites as long as they are non-white and/or non-male, and why these representatives are accepted as members in good standing of a major political party.”
