On Tuesday evening, October 10, Chazaq, Daily Giving, Hakhel, and TorahAnytime hosted a global unity event on behalf of Eretz Yisrael. Robbie Aboff, Chazaq’s Director of Operations, welcomed everyone to the virtual event.
This past week, Klal Yisrael shared a collective heartbreak and horror over the unfathomable events in Israel. In the midst of despair and uncertainty, Jews from around the world shed light on the power of unity. Tears of sorrow melded with tears of wonder at how quickly people mobilized to help in every way imaginable. In this new reality, deciding what step to take first was a challenge. At Emet, the first step was tefilah.
All of the art adorning the Kiddush/Social Hall, ten paintings, at Congregation Machane Chodosh are hers. She created two murals on the shul’s sukkah walls.
She created and donated her art as gifts for the Sisterhood events and the shul’s dinners. And she does it for free.
The Young Israel of Kew Gardens Hills will welcome Dr. Alan Kadish, President of Touro University, as Scholar-in-Residence on Shabbos VaYeira, November 3-4. YIKGH Scholars-in-Residence are a program of the Rabbi Fabian Schonfeld Adult Education Center.
On Tuesday, October 3, the third night of Chol HaMoed, over 2,500 men, women, and children from all the different communities of Queens gathered for the second annual Mega Simchas BeisHaSho’eivah.
