This past week, MTA held unique chesed events in Bergen County and on Long Island. These events gave incoming and current MTA moms a chance to meet each other and spend a meaningful evening together. Everyone made mezuzos that will be sent to chayalim in Eretz Yisrael, and each one was a work of art!
Sara Engel opened her home to about 30 women from all over New Jersey and Monsey, while Kara Gomberg hosted moms from Queens, West Hempstead, Great Neck, Connecticut, and other Long Island communities.
The feedback was tremendously positive, as the evenings were relaxed yet centered around chesed. MTA thanks Sari Sheinfeld for spearheading the event, and Mrs. Sari Kahn, YUHS Director of Institutional Advancement, for bringing the idea to fruition.
