This past Shabbos, the talmidim of the MTA Yeshiva Fellowship program convened at the Clinton Inn in Tenafly, New Jersey, for their annual Shabbaton. The Yeshiva Fellowship, a program designed to provide opportunities for additional Torah learning beyond the regular yeshivah schedule, is one of the cornerstones of the MTA experience.

Talmidim who take advantage of the opportunity to participate in the fellowship get to spend significant time learning from Rav Hershel Schachter, Rosh Yeshiva and Rosh Kollel at RIETS, a unique experience that MTA talmidim enjoy. Rav Schachter was in attendance for the Shabbaton, and his presence added to the atmosphere, as talmidim had the chance to ask questions at a question-and-answer session and got to hear divrei Torah from the Rosh Yeshiva throughout the Shabbos. This Shabbaton, like the many other events that the Fellowship participants enjoy, is often one of the highlights of the MTA experience.
