This past week, MTA held unique chesed events in Bergen County and on Long Island. These events gave incoming and current MTA moms a chance to meet each other and spend a meaningful evening together. Everyone made mezuzos that will be sent to chayalim in Eretz Yisrael, and each one was a work of art!

Future Medical and Business Professionals Honored as Student Commencement Speakers

Four stellar students with sterling character were selected as valedictorians and will serve as student speakers at the 51st annual commencement for Touro’s Lander Colleges to be held May 25 at Lincoln Center. They represent Touro’s Lander College for Women, Touro’s Lander College for Men and Touro’s Lander College of Arts & Sciences.

The HALB eighth-grade boys had the unforgettable opportunity to take a ferry from Battery Park to Ellis Island. After studying the immigration process in class, they brought history to life by walking in the footsteps of their ancestors. From viewing original artifacts to exploring exhibits dating back to the 1800s, the students gained a powerful, firsthand look at the immigrant experience that helped shape our nation.

 

Yeshiva University is pleased to announce that nine students have been named undergraduate valedictorians of its 2025 graduating class. They and their fellow classmates will graduate at the University’s 94th Annual Commencement Ceremony to take place at Louis Armstrong Stadium at the USTA Billie Jean King National Tennis Center on Thursday, May 22, 2025, at 1 p.m. EST. The following are excerpts from interviews with each of the valedictorians to learn about their courses of study, experiences at YU and plans for the future.
