Taking over in February 2025 following the leadership of Captain David F. Cordano, who now leads the 115th, Captain Fennessey brings a wealth of experience earned over more than fifteen years of dedicated service. Since joining the NYPD in January 2010, he has held a variety of roles across the 75th and 77th Precincts, Patrol Borough Brooklyn North, and the Internal Affairs Bureau—experience that has shaped his balanced approach to proactive policing and community engagement.
