This past Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday, our eighth graders who are participating in the Names, Not Numbers (NNN) Project were involved in the filming of interviews of three Holocaust survivors. These interviews will be made into an NNN documentary which will be shown to the community at large sometime in May.

MTA hosted its Annual Dinner of Tribute this past week, an evening defined by gratitude and deep connection. Surrounded by parents, alumni, rebbeim, and friends of the yeshivah, the program reflected the strength of the MTA community and its unwavering commitment to Torah, chinuch, and am Yisrael.

The 37^th Annual Scholarship Dinner of Yeshiva Har Torah was a powerful and inspiring celebration of leadership, dedication, and community. Held on Motza’ei Shabbos at the Old Westbury Hebrew Congregation, the evening brought together parents, alumni, faculty, and supporters in recognition of those who have profoundly shaped the YHT story.

Students in first through eighth grade competed in the JFK/Jewish Press Chanukah Art Contest, and many HALB students won prizes! The winners had the special opportunity to take a trip to JFK to see their art on display. Congratulations to:

The sixth grade recently celebrated a beautiful siyum upon completing Parshas B’Shalach. The girls worked hard, built strong skills, and internalized many meaningful lessons, and their efforts were marked with a special and joyful celebration.

On Wednesday, January 7, a group of eighth-grade YCQ students participating in the prestigious “Names, Not Numbers” program traveled to Manhattan for an immersive educational experience at the Anne Frank Exhibition at the Center for Jewish History.
