With less than two months to go until Election Day, the Kamala Harris transition team is starting to take shape, and names are being dropped on who will hold key cabinet positions should she win the presidency. Several “outreach director” appointments in the campaign are concerning enough, but the reports of who Harris has on the shortlist for Attorney General is a harbinger on how morally bankrupt this administration could be.
Democrats, using the age-old “divide and conquer” strategy, taps people to be outreach directors for specific groups. Harris has outreach directors for Jewish, Arab, and Christian Americans. All of these directors have one common theme: They hate Israel and want to see it destroyed.
Several weeks ago, Harris tapped Ilan Goldenberg to be the Jewish outreach director. Immediately, he was panned as a “useful idiot” for the anti-Israel, Jew-hating Left given his heterodox views on the US-Israel relationship. Everyone knows that for Israel to be secure, there must be certain facts on the ground. Goldenberg opposes all of those facts that keep Israel secure, because he still buys the lie that Israel can trade security for peace.
This is why Goldenberg advocates for a divided Jerusalem, a return of pre-1967 borders, including dismantling every Jewish town in Judea and Samaria and the Golan Heights, and giving the terrorist-loving Palestinian Authority a state and international recognition. He is an advocate for sanctioning Israel, both by the United States and other nations, opposes recognizing Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, opposes the Taylor Force Act (which ends economic aid as long as the PA has the “pay for slay” program), supports the Iran Deal, and wants to fund UNRWA, which has been proven to be a Hamas front group. This man is tapped with reaching out to the Jewish community in America.
The appointment of Brenda Abdelall as the Arab American outreach director for the Harris campaign is just as concerning among staunch supporters of Israel. Abdelall, who currently serves as the Department of Homeland Security’s assistant secretary of partnership and engagement, has been given a critical role in securing Arab American votes for Harris, something she needs to win Michigan, a key battleground state. Abdelall’s anti-Semitism is shockingly overt.
In 2002, Abdelall attended the American Muslim Council’s annual convention, where she made a controversial remark, stating, “The Zionists have a strong voice in American politics... I would say they’re controlling a lot of it.” This assertion plays into dangerous and long-standing anti-Semitic tropes that Jewish influence manipulates politics for personal or ideological gain. Abdelall further suggested that the electoral defeat of former congressman Earl Hilliard Sr. “shows the Jewish influence in politics,” implying that Jewish or Zionist organizations exert undue control over political outcomes.
The apple doesn’t fall from the tree in Abdelall’s case. Her mother, Mona Abdelall, echoed similar views at the time, claiming that President George W. Bush’s policies blindly supported Israel under the influence of Zionists, citing, “Just listen to President [George W.] Bush’s speech. He’s just blindly supporting [then-Israeli Prime Minister] Ariel Sharon.” Like mother, like daughter, and this is who Harris wants to represent her to the Arab community in America.
Another top appointee in the Harris campaign, this one tapped to reach out to Muslim communities, is Nasrina Bargzie. Bargzie is an Afghan Muslim immigrant who was interviewed by the FBI after 9/11. She got on their radar because of “troubling comments” she made to friends, who then reported her to the FBI. She has active ties to CAIR and is directly linked to Students for Justice in Palestine. She used her power and influence to shut down Jewish students complaining about harassment in Berkeley by SJP. Harris made her Deputy Counsel.
Then there’s the Christian community, which is, by polling data, incredibly pro-Israel. So, who does Kamala Harris pick? Another anti-Zionist! Reverend Jen Butler is a radical progressive who has praised the Goldenberg and Bargzie picks. She is a staunch follower of Linda Sarsour, one of the most prominent Jew-haters in America today. She called Jesus a “a brown skin Palestinian Jew.” In an attempt to hide her radicalism, she has deleted many of her tweets, but the watchdog group StopAntisemtism has archived the worst of them. Jen Butler is the Harris campaign’s “faith outreach director.”
Most troubling is the news that dropped over the weekend, claiming that Keith Ellison is on the shortlist to be the pick for Attorney General. This is unsurprising, as Ellison is the Attorney General of Minnesota, where Tim Walz is currently Governor. Walz and Ellison have had a strong working relationship. Ellison’s name has dropped in the past few years, but he was the predecessor for Ilhan Omar. In fact, it was his endorsement of Omar that put her in his place in Congress when he decided to run for AG of Minnesota.
Ellison’s ties to anti-Semitism emerged when he became a contender for the top spot at the Democratic National Committee (DNC) in 2017. It was revealed that he was close with the Nation of Islam and its founder Louis Farrakhan, as rabid an anti-Semite if there ever was one. He denounced the group when he entered Congress in 2006. In 2010, an audio recording of Ellison claiming that American foreign policy is “governed” by Israeli interests was released. When reports of Ellison claiming that “European white Jews are trying to oppress minorities all over the world,” came out, that sank his bid for DNC chair.
Now Ellison has a shot to be the top cop in the nation. While he claims that these rumors are untrue, they are not far-fetched. Tim Walz has a long track record of closeness with Jew-haters, including the aforementioned Ilhan Omar and Imam Asad Zaman, the executive director of the Muslim American Society Minnesota. Zaman is known for praising October 7, sharing pro-Hitler videos, and being called a “master teacher” by Walz. It would make sense for the AG of Walz’s state to become the AG for the country should Harris win.
Speaking of Walz, his comments on the protesters have been extremely cowardly. After giving the prerequisite “October 7 was bad” comment, he does the bidding of the extreme left: He blames Netanyahu, he ignores Hamas, he praises protesters, and he advocates for a Palestinian state. “I think those folks who are speaking out loudly in Michigan are speaking out for all the right reasons,” he said. “It’s a humanitarian crisis. It can’t stand the way it is.”
While for seven years, the Left has been spreading the lie that Donald Trump called neo-Nazis “very fine people,” when he specifically separated them out as terrible people, Harris, Walz, and others make no attempt to separate. They praise all protesters equally, which means they are including the people who wave Hamas flags, attack Jews, and stump for more terrorism. This is deliberate, because they know that those that support Hamas, Hezbollah, and other genocidal terrorist groups are a key component of their voting base. When Walz singles out protesters in Michigan, he is telling those in Dearborn, who openly advocate for the destruction of Israel, that he has their back.
Harris knows that the only way to victory is to speak out of both sides of her mouth. While she may say that she supports Israel, her actions speak far louder than her words (and even her words are inefficient, as they always include caveats). She has time and time again appointed people to high-ranking positions in her campaign who hate the State of Israel and would see it be destroyed in favor of another terrorist-sheltering Muslim-Arab state. She is too dangerous to win the presidency. In two months, we’ll discover if America accepts these Jew-hating radicals as their new chosen leaders.
