From June 8 to June 12 (Sunday to Thursday), ten students from the Hebrew Academy of Long Beach (HALB) proudly represented their school at the prestigious National History Day (NHD) competition held in College Park, Maryland. Competing against thousands of students from across the country, HALB students earned national recognition in two major categories: Junior Group Website and Junior Group Documentary.

The halls of Bnos Malka Academy were recently filled with creativity, innovation, and Torah values as the eighth grade elective 3D Printing class, Design Fab @CIJE, completed a meaningful and inspiring project. Using Tinkercad, a program that combines 3D design and coding, the girls designed and created original pieces under the theme of Hiddur Mitzvah – the beautification of a mitzvah. Their challenge was to choose mitzvos that typically don’t have a physical object associated with them and then design and code objects to meaningfully represent those mitzvos.

MTA held graduation this past week for 75 Seniors. It was a beautiful evening, full of heartfelt words from classmates and the MTA administration, including the Yeshiva University president, Rabbi Dr. Ari Berman. MTA looks forward to welcoming the Class of 2025 to their illustrious group of alumni!
