Registration for next school year at Mercaz Academy is still underway, and on Tuesday, February 7, interested parents were treated to an Info Night to gain a better understanding of the program.

HALB first grade teachers and learning center teachers visited Lev Chana’s kindergarten classes to learn more about what they do and how they do it. Teachers from both divisions met as a group to collaborate and discuss the best ways to set our students up for success.

Here at HANC students jumped right in at the opportunity to participate in Pink Day in support of Sharsheret, a non-profit organization with the goal of supporting women and health.

Students at SINAI at YCQ had a blast visiting the New York Hall of Science, with its myriad of #STEM activities and hands-on learning opportunities!

The Pre-1A classes at Yeshiva Tiferes Moshe culminated their unit on brachos with a fun Brachos Hunt at Rosenblum’s Supermarket in Kew Gardens. Along with a morah, the boys were divided into groups and had a chance to walk through the store and point out different foods for each brachah. Each boy had a brachos chart and drew a picture of a food in the appropriate box as they «hunted» for the various foods amongst the aisles. Upon finishing, each group purchased a food item with their specific brachah to share with their classmates at their brachos party back at yeshivah! The budding talmidim enjoyed this special trip and it was a great way to finish off their six-week unit of learning all the different brachos.

After months of practice and hard work, Production, one of the Stella K. Abraham High School for Girls’ most exciting events of the year, finally arrived! On Motza’ei Shabbos and Sunday evening, February 11 and 12, A Hollywood Dream was performed at the HALB Hirt Family campus of the HALB elementary school auditorium to a full house of SKA family members, friends, and faculty.
