Recap: Shoshana Rosa’s father tells her he is going on a secret mission. He shows her where his important papers are hidden. He tells her that if anything happens to him, she should only show these papers to a certain person. He explains that he is working on a lifesaving vaccine for the world, and he has to travel to China where a rare plant grows.

The most important factor in choosing a therapist is whether a potential candidate is understanding and respectful of your values and beliefs. A therapist can have an excellent education, phenomenal interpersonal skills, and stellar reviews on Zocdoc, but nothing is going to get off the ground if he or she doesn’t understand your perspective.

Picture this: The National Weather Service has predicted the blizzard of the century (for any centenarians out there, a second century): high winds, plunging temperatures, tons of snow (sorry kids, Zoom school is in session… <cue evil music>).

Recap: Some unsavory visitors in a car with tinted windows came to Shoshana Rosa’s house to do business with her father. She overhears her father telling her mother that he is planning a trip to China. She doesn’t want her father to go there. China is a dangerous place to visit.

 There’s something wrong with me. Why can’t I just be like everyone else? If I wasn’t so incapable, I wouldn’t be in this mess. It’s hopeless. I’m always going to be miserable.
