Over the weekend, the MTA Baseball Lions traveled to Boston for the annual Ezra Schwartz Z’l Memorial Tournament hosted by the Maimonides School. The tournament, which honors the memory of Maimonides alum Ezra Schwartz, who was killed in a terrorist attack while visiting Israel, allows high school students from around the country to gather together for a weekend of camaraderie and fun. Baseball was one of Ezra’s great passions, and the tournament is a great testament to his life and impact on his school and community.
