The Bais Yaakov Academy of Queens is still on a high with the memories of the recent two-week Shabbos program, The Gift of Shabbos. It was an intense two weeks of experiencing the elevating feeling of Shabbos Kodesh through song, dance, drama, interactive lessons, food, and visual displays. The school building was transformed into a Shabbos wonderland, with artistic Shabbos bulletin boards, signs, door messages, and an entrance lobby displaying a gorgeous Gift Boutique featuring the gifts of Shabbos!

Bnos Malka Academy’s preschool had a wonderful time on Purim Katan enjoying Rabbi Yitzy Haber’s hilarious Purim spiel. Students were laughing and participating in Rabbi Haber’s antics and had a great time getting a head start on their Purim fun.

The Kindergarten children at HALB’s Lev Chana Early Childhood Program hosted special guests this week. Partnering with Kulanu, children who were off from their school this week had a chance to spend time in our yeshivah! Our children did a great job doing the mitzvah of Hachnasas Orchim by hosting these new friends. A special thank you goes to the SKA girls who came to help out. It is always great to have SKA girls collaborate with Lev Chana children!
